Fishing trips

I'm planning on returning to Xela this winter, but would like to do some fishing while I'm there this time. I know I could have gotten some in on the coast by Tilapia, but I was wondering if Pana has any fishing up there, or if I'd be better off looking at the ocean?

They do fish in Atitlan but I have not seen any organized fishing trips. The pacific coast of Guatemala is world famous for bill fishing and I hear it is wonderful.

Fish are normally caught on hooks or with nets. I prefer the hooking style as it's mostly the sport that I enjoy.
But the title does get people to read it.
