Wanting to teach English in Xela

I am South African born lady in my 40's, currently teaching English in China but I'd love an opportunity to experience working and living in Xela. Any advice? I have heard that it's easier to apply in person than via the Internet. What are the best options then? Look for private accommodation? share? hostel? Any pointers in employment contacts and/or accommodation help will be highly appreciated. I have a TEFL/Tesol/ESL certificate.
